The Darkness is a being of pure evil, descending from the beginning of time, he is a powerful individual who likes to break his enemies psychologically and then kill them, he is capable of destroying an army of Terranovians and Quatonaiens. Popular to contrary belief, many people believe that The Darkness may be apart of the same species as The Architect but nowhere near as powerful. The Darkness gathered enough power and attempted to destroy New Earth although his mortality was proved after he was destroyed by Burt J. Rhode and the Super Soldiers back in 2430.
