"We're creating an abomination"

"No, we're creating the future"

--Ralph and Fujika Bark discussing her pregnancy

Ibridas are the hybrid result of Werewolves and Vampires mating. The only know member of the species is Kotaro Bark, son of Ralph Bark and grandson of Aiden Bark. The only known way so far of becoming an Ibrida is to be born of parents with both Vampire and Werewolf heritage.

History[]

The Ibrida species resulted after the Werewolf Ralph Bark and his Vampire wife Fujika had sexual intercourse for the first time resulting in her pregnancy. The child ate Fujika from the inside and had already grown, but due to Fujika's rapid healing abilities this did not phase her and she thought it was kind of "cute". Ralph was worried they were creating an abomination but Fujika declined and stated they were creating the future. After the child was born he was named Kotaro and he had the general appearance a human but had the characteristics of a traditional Vampire, he craved blood etc but grew out of that as his mother and father raised him "vegetarian" and eventually he began eating regular human foods and despised blood. Eventually when Kotaro hit puberty he had his first transformation when he transformed he had the appearance of a werewolf and vampire mixed, he was also stronger than both his parents combined although he was very calm and peaceful and did not want to hurt his parents. Eventually, Kotaro grew up and had the abilities of a Vampire when not in "hybrid form" and on the full moon he grows to his full power, Kotaro eventually dubbed himself an Ibrida, an alternative name of the latin word hybrid.

Biology[]

Diet[]

From birth, baby Ibridas generally crave blood. The parents have a choice of supplying them with blood or not at all, if the baby stays away from blood for awhile it will eventually find blood distasteful although if you choose to supply it with blood it will have an uncontrollable urge to have more blood. If a Ibrida doesn't like blood, it would usually have regular human foods although in their full moon form they tend to like the taste of raw meat (a trait inherited from the werewolf genes).

Powers and Abilities[]

Ibridas have the abilities of both their predecessors but much, much more enhanced. This was proof when Kotaro Bark fought a rabid Vampire and Werewolf and managed to beat both of them. They are known to be immortal unless killed and possess a degree of invulnerability; capable of resisting certain weapons. They are also known to possess superhuman speed, strength, stamina, endurance, reflexes and even agility. Ibridas are also known to regenerate lost and damaged tissue and even possess amazing sight, smell, taste, hearing and even feel.

Weaknesses[]

Ibridas have none of their predecessors weaknesses but possess weaknesses of their own, although it hasn't been stated, Ralph Bark confirmed that Ibridas can possibly die from decapitation and heart removal.

Mating and Birth[]

Since Kotaro Bark is the only member of his species it is unknown how they mate.

Creation[]

The only way to create an Ibrida is to be born like it. Both of your parents must be a Vampire or Werewolf although it is still unlikely a baby will even be conceived by the two species and it was considered a miracle that Kotaro was even conceived. You also can't be turned into a Ibrida because, your current genome will reject the new one and eventually destroy the body for instance when Ralph Bark almost died from the Vampire toxin because his Werewolf cells were rejecting the Vampires but the venom was sucked out in time saving him.

Growth[]

Ibridas grow at an increased rate to normal humans, due to them being half vampire which makes them immortal. It takes five months of the baby to grow inside the womb, and after the baby is born it fully matures and stops aging at age 9 maintaing the appearence of a human in its early 20s.

Appearence[]

In regualr form, Ibridas have the appearence of a normal human with the abilities of a Vampire with the heightened senses of a Werewolf. On the full moon, an Ibrida undergoes a metamorphis into a hybrid-like vampire/werewolf, in this stage they become more werewolf like, not being able to control themselves and craving raw meat. They appear to be thinner and less hairier than a normal Werewolf with fangs of a Vampire, although they are the same in height as a Werewolf. Their snout appears to be smaller than that of an average Werewolf possibly being from the Vampire side of genetics.
